Highlights from Kin-Tora Tournament

On November 19th Rochester Judo Club traveled to Buffalo NY for a grassroots tournament at Kin-Tora Judo center. In this competition all adults fought each other at least once, usually two times. This round robin style tournament is a great way to get in a lot of matches and see how students stack up against other competitors in the region. The competitors ranged from white to black belt and 145lbs up to 240lbs. I was very proud of how we did, winning over 90% of our matches. Everything we have been drilling in class was put to the test such as our gripping strategies, combos and counters. Here are some highlights of the action:
